| The dogs do a second 11 1/2 mile leg towards their Siberian Husky Club of Canada Working Sleddog titles. It was a very warm winter day 9 degrees C and the trail was slushy, hard going for the dogs but they did extremely well. Jive and Pippin are once again running with Amber Welch's team for these Working Dog titles. Amber drove the team most of the way with her brother Tyler in the basket. This trail has a few roads that the team has to cross and is well travelled by people and off lead dogs so having someone in the basket makes the run harder for the dogs but helpful in case of a problem. Valerie Rodger was our witness for this run and took the start up pictures for us. The team from lead back includes: -Ch. Owner: Amber Welch -Miakoda's Little Vixen "Vixen" Breeder: Amber Welch & Brenda Potter Owner: Amber Welch & Jeff Powers -Ch. | After the run. "Jump N Jive" has given up her jumping for resting her head on her sister's back while Ceilidh appears to be trying to catch a nap while standing up. :) |
