The Halifax Regional Municipality in partnership with the Atlantic Federation of Musicians and the Music Performers Fund will be providing FREE concerts every Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm until Sept 14th.

Theatre that goes for the edges, presses the form, takes risks, offbeat, fresh. New work from emerging/established artists. Theatre six to seven venues/stages, 30-35 plays, 225 performances. Plays from Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario, the US and Great Britain.

50 Mile Route Yard Sale Sept 6, 2008 - Sept 7, 2008
Each year the Musquodoboit Valley Tourism Association organzies the 50 Miles Route of Yard Sales throughout the Musquodoboit Valley. Each registered yard sale location is marked with ballons. Parking areas are provided at several sales locateion and viitors are asked to use the designated parking areas when possible to avoid congestion on the highway. The three official starting points are: Dean, Meagher's Grant and Dutch Settlement. The yard sales will take place from 8am to 5pm each day, rain or shine.
