Puppies First Snow Run
Puppies returning from their first snow run, Dec. 10th, 2006. From front to back: Disco, Jive, Weaver, Levi, Ceilidh and Freya. Jeff is driving and Amber is in the basket.

Main Street Trail Oct. 1st, 2005

This is a short trail that can give me up to a 4 mile run. What is nice about it is that it is very close to my house and it includes a number of hills, some of which are pretty steep. It also has more people / dog traffic on it so its great for teaching "on by". I like it for beginning of the season training. I let the dogs run full out on this trail. When I moved to the Rails to Trails BLT trail I slow the dogs down and up the distance. Evenually I hope to be able to do 30 to 50 mile runs on the BLT trail.

Free and Levi: I first took Free and Levi out for a run. This is them returning.

Free and Jive: I then took Free and Jive out so Free got a double run. Because I'm just starting training with Jive I just did the first section of this trail before we hit any hills. It was about a one mile run. This is them returning.

Ceilidh and Weaver: This is Amber with Ceilidh and Weaver. Amber first took Weaver out for a run with Levi, Free and I, so this is the second time out for Weaver. Again because Ceilidh is just starting training Amber just did a short 1 mile run with them. They are returning from their run in this clip.
