| Tanka is pick boy from my Wolvie x Jive "Dances With Wolvies" litter. His father Wolvie is one of Karen Ramstead's up and coming Stars on her Iditarod team and Jive is a RBIS winner in Canada and a lead dog on my team. Tanka is just a baby but he is a VERY handsome boy with a great personality. Carolyn and I have high hopes for him both on the trail and in the show ring. Josie is out of my Disco x Star "Dancing with the Stars" litter. Josie is a very sound moving girl who is a multi Group placer in Canada and is in training as a lead dog for Carolyn and my team. Her dad, Disco, is a Best of Breed winner and a Levi (BIS Am/Can Ch. Chimini's Living Like A Legend WD, CGN, CL1, AGNS, AGNJS, RA) son. |
| Well I guess in 30+ years of breeding dogs it was bound to happen at some point - an Oops Litter. Two of my co-owns decided to have an unplanned litter. A very naughty seven month old Tatanka got out of his pen and bred his big "sister" (not real sister) Josie. Off course when you don't want a bitch to be pregnant you can be assured that she will be. So, Josie is due Feb. 4th, 2010. Fortunately, this is a breeding I would have done, just LATER! Because Josie is such a mommy's girl, the litter will stay with Carolyn, Josie's co-owner, until the puppies are weaned from Josie and then they will come to me around March 20th. Approved puppies homes will be able to visit the puppies and both parents at Carolyn's place in Fredericton until the pups come here. |

Six puppies, 3 girls and 3 boys arrived Feb. 4th, on time and during the day. The theme of this litter is the "Oops" Litter and we decided to name the pups in honor of Tanka's great gandfather Blunder, who also was part of an Oops litter. However there were only 5 pups in Blunder's litter, six in this so one boy is being called Boo-Boo.
