Obtaining a Puppy From Chimini Siberians If you wish to get your name on my list for a puppy please contact me for a puppy application form. Getting your application in and getting approval for a puppy early will greatly increase your chances of getting a puppy. All Chimini puppies are Canadian Kennel Club registered, given at least their first vaccination, tattooed, dewormed (4 times) and vet checked. They also come with a 4 generation pedigree, an extensive puppy pack, a 5 year written health guarantee and my support for the life of the dog. Parents of the puppies have had their eyes and hips cleared of hereditary problems. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFO BEFORE CONTACTING ME ABOUT A PUPPY Pet Puppies: I only place pet puppies within the Atlantic Provinces and do not ship so you must pick up your puppy in person. I want to meet you and for you to meet me and the dogs! Puppies going to pet homes are sold on a Canadian Kennel Club Non-Breeding Contract and must also be spayed / neutered by 9 months of age. Co-ownership Homes: Do you live reasonably close to Halifax, NS? Do you think going to dog shows or having your dog shown or running your dog in harness would be activities you might be interested in getting involved in and would like someone to mendor you? If so, you might want to ask me about getting a puppy on a co-ownership. Occasionally I will place a puppy in a home on co-ownership if I think it could be the right situation for all concerned. The Siberian Husky has a normal life span of 10 to 14 year and a few have lived to be 16 or 18 years old. Please think hard about this fact BEFORE getting a Siberian. That is a long time. When I breed a litter I make a committment to each puppy in that litter FOR LIFE. When someone buys a puppy from me I expect them to make the same committment to the puppy they buy FOR LIFE. Please do not get a Siberian, or any dog for that matter, if you are not willing to make a lifelong committment to that dog.
