Information

Jive is full of life and attitude. As a puppy, and even as an adult, Jive just loved to jump into my arms, or anyone elses arms for that matter, with no forwarning whatsoever that she is going to do so or when trying to move her she will move very nicely and than suddenly leap into the air. I keep saying I should have called her "Jump N Jive". Off all the pups I'm pretty sure that Tasy (known throughout her life as "Trouble"), did the most talking to this little girl before she crossed over the rainbow bridge. At six weeks of age Jive was already trying to climb out of the xpen. I was sure she was going to break her leg like Tasy did two days after I got her. For this antic Jive quickly picked up the nickname of "Trouble-Two". I just love her spirit although she does also have a very sweet, calm side to her. Like her grandmother and father, she loves to cuddly, enjoys a good belly rub and she loves to go down to Point Pleasant Park for off lead runs just like her Grand Mother Siri did. I hope Jive and I enjoy many years together.

On the Trail
Jive, like all the Levi / Free kids is showing lots of promise on the trail. She is very enthusiastic and will run any position, including lead. I'm very excited about this girls future in on the trail.

In The Show Ring

Jive picked up a singleton point as a junior puppy. Then she went to the Moncton Kennel Club where she went Best of Breed under Guy Jeavons for 3pts on Nov. 12th, 2005 and the next day went Best of Winners for another 2 points. She then took some time off to grow up a little and change coats. On the weekend of June 24th/25th, 2006 she returned to the show ring where she finished her Canadian Championship at the Evangeline Kennel Club shows with back to back 2 pt. Best of Breed wins under David Paterson and James Reynolds.

Therapy Dog

In Sept. 2006 Jive passed both her Canine Good Neighbour test and became a St. John Ambulance Therapy dog. I'm so very proud of these accomplishments, especially her following in her mom and grandmom's paws as a therapy dog.

Brace

Jive, along with her sister Ceilidh went Best Brace In Show at the Moncton Kennel Club Show. on Nov. 11th, 2006. Click on "As Brace with Sister" in side bar to see these two girls together.

Other

Jive has also started to focus on a variety of other activites including agility, obedience, therapy dog work and off course free style dancing. Jive has already learn several dancing moves and I think she will live up to her name. :)
